I finally got to ride a tuk-tuk—something I’ve always wanted to try!
I didn’t drive myself, just rode in the back, and my first reaction was: “This is scary!” 😆
It felt like an amusement ride—totally different from a motorbike.
Once I got used to it, the fear disappeared and I really enjoyed the drive, feeling the breeze and taking in the views.
Driving through busy streets added a little thrill, too.
But I think it was the perfect experience because Itoshima has just the right mix of countryside, seaside, and peaceful rice fields.
It was a totally different kind of sightseeing, and I definitely recommend giving it a try when you visit Itoshima! 😊
